Electric-mobility startup iGowise plans to launch its upgraded BeiGo X4 electric trike in October 2026, with customer deliveries expected around the Diwali season. Autocar Professional reported the product plan on September 16 and said the company is targeting 1,000 vehicles by the end of fiscal 2027.
The BeiGo X4 uses two rear wheels for stability but keeps the leaning behaviour of a two-wheeler. iGowise calls the system an anti-topple gimbal tilting architecture. The company says the design is meant to help riders maintain road grip and control during slow manoeuvres and on uneven surfaces.
The first 300 bookings are planned through an invite-only launch programme at an introductory price of Rs 1.25 lakh. After that allocation, the standard ex-showroom price is listed at Rs 1.56 lakh. Actual on-road costs will depend on registration, insurance and local charges.
iGowise lists a claimed 100-kilometre IDC range, a 100-minute charging time, triple-disc combined braking and dual-wheel drive with 120Nm of torque. The vehicle uses a 72-volt architecture that the company says supports fast charging from a home power source.
The company says development took five years, included more than 50 prototypes and involved more than 150,000 kilometres of testing in different Indian road and weather conditions. It also says the model has received ICAT and ARAI certification, follows applicable vehicle rules and uses battery-safety measures covered by AIS-156.
iGowise is pairing the vehicle with an ownership plan that includes component-level quality control, AI-led inventory planning and a modular service-on-wheels model. The company says the service approach could resolve up to 95% of customer queries at the doorstep, but that is a company target rather than an independently verified service result.
The BeiGo X4 is aimed at personal mobility, delivery and micro-entrepreneur uses. The verified news is the planned launch, published pricing, stated specifications and target volume. Final availability, customer feedback and real-world range will need to be assessed after deliveries begin.
