Arrow sets Oct. 27 date for four-film ‘Hellraiser’ 4K collection

Arrow Video’s four-film Hellraiser collection is scheduled to arrive on 4K Ultra HD in the United States and Canada on Oct. 27. MovieWeb reported the release date on Saturday. Distributor MVD Entertainment Group lists the same street date and identifies the North American territory, while Arrow’s own store lists the collection in its UK catalog.

Arrow sets Oct. 27 date for four-film ‘Hellraiser’ 4K collection

The Hellraiser 4K collection groups Hellraiser, Hellbound: Hellraiser II, Hellraiser III: Hell on Earth and Hellraiser: Bloodline across four discs. Arrow says its presentations are restored from the original camera negatives. The product specifications list Dolby Vision with HDR10 compatibility, lossless stereo and DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 for each film.

The collection follows the franchise across four release years: the original arrived in 1987, followed by Hellbound in 1988, Hell on Earth in 1992 and Bloodline in 1996. Together, the films run about 373 minutes, according to MVD’s product listing.

Arrow’s package description also names newly commissioned artwork by Matt Griffin, reversible sleeves and a set of extras spread across the discs. Those include archival commentaries, interviews, trailers and production material. The fourth disc, for Bloodline, is listed with a workprint version and a documentary about the franchise. The retailer and label listings describe the contents; they do not provide a new review of the transfers.

The set is a catalog release, not a fifth installment or a new production announcement. Its news value is the planned North American street date and the way Arrow has bundled the first four films with the label’s restoration and supplemental-material specifications. Fans who already own an earlier edition can compare the listed contents and format details before deciding whether this release adds something they want.

Arrow’s UK storefront lists the same tetralogy as a 4K product, but the page does not display a matching Oct. 27 date. MVD’s listing specifies the United States and Canada, so the date should not be assumed to apply to every market. The current product pages also do not establish that the set will stream on that date.

For viewers, the clearest confirmed details are the four included titles, four-disc format, restoration source, HDR formats and North American street date. Arrow and MVD provide the product information, while MovieWeb’s timely report brought the release back into the news cycle. No wider regional schedule is confirmed in the pages reviewed.
