Pimax Crystal Pro has moved from concept to a product with a public reservation page and a stated shipping window. The company says shipments are expected to begin in 2027, while hands-on demonstrations are planned for the fourth quarter of 2026. It has not given an exact release date or a final price for the headset.

The official Pimax Store lists a $1 reservation option. That payment is a reservation, not the purchase price of the headset. The page also describes two configurations: a headset-only option and a bundle with the company’s third-generation 60G AirLink system. Buyers should check the current terms on the store page before reserving, since availability and offers can change.

Pimax says Wi-Fi streaming will be included for wireless PC VR. For a wired setup, the headset can connect over DisplayPort at up to 120 Hz; the cable is sold separately. The company also lists Lighthouse tracking support through a swappable faceplate, giving users a way to configure the headset for that tracking system rather than relying only on its standard setup.

The standard package is listed with Pimax Ringed SLAM controllers, an external battery and a Wi-Fi dongle. Pimax says the battery is designed to be carried in a pocket. The AirLink bundle adds the wireless hardware and its antennas. The product page does not provide a final headset price or an exact shipping date, so those details remain open.

The timetable leaves several months between the planned demonstrations and the start of shipments. Those demonstrations should give prospective buyers their first opportunity to try the announced hardware, but specifications alone cannot establish comfort, battery life, wireless latency or real-world performance. Those questions will need hands-on testing once production units are available.

For now, the clearest news is the company’s schedule and its description of the product’s connection choices. Pimax is presenting Crystal Pro as a PC headset that can be used over Wi-Fi or DisplayPort, with optional 60G AirLink hardware and a separate Lighthouse faceplate. The 2027 shipping window is broad; buyers will need a firmer date and full pricing before comparing the headset’s overall cost with alternatives.
