Samsung has launched the Galaxy S26 FE in India with a 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display, the Exynos 2500 processor and a new set of Galaxy AI features. Samsung India announced the phone on September 14 and lists the 8GB\/256GB model at \u20b979,999.<\/p>\n

The Galaxy S26 FE is the first phone in the Galaxy S26 family to launch with One UI 9, according to Samsung. The software adds context-aware features to the company\u2019s existing Galaxy AI tools, including updated briefing cards and suggestions that can appear across selected apps and notifications.<\/p>\n

Samsung says the phone has a 50-megapixel wide camera, a 12-megapixel ultra-wide camera and an 8-megapixel telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom. The 12-megapixel front camera is aimed at selfies and video calls. The camera software includes My FanCam, which can keep a selected person centered as they move through a video.<\/p>\n

Other camera features include Super Steady with Horizontal Lock for level video and Nightography for low-light scenes. Samsung also says Photo Assist can refine images using natural-language prompts, while Gemini<\/a> Omni can turn photos and video clips from the Gallery into a new shareable video.<\/p>\n

The display supports a refresh rate of up to 120Hz and a peak brightness of up to 1,900 nits in the company\u2019s specification table. The screen is intended for everyday viewing, gaming and browsing, although the final experience can vary with the content and the selected display settings.<\/p>\n

Samsung pairs the display with a 4,900mAh battery and 45W wired charging. The company says the phone can reach<\/a> up to 69 percent in around 30 minutes when used with a 45W adapter under its stated test conditions. A 15W wireless charging option and Wireless PowerShare are also listed.<\/p>\n

The Exynos 2500 chip is built on a 3nm process and supports the handset\u2019s AI and performance features. Samsung also gives the phone an IP68 rating for water and dust resistance. The rating is based on laboratory conditions and does not make the device permanently waterproof.<\/p>\n

Samsung promises up to seven generations of operating-system upgrades and seven years of security updates from the global launch date, subject to regional and device requirements. The phone runs Android 17 with One UI 9, and some AI features may arrive at different times depending on software and carrier approvals.<\/p>\n

In India, Samsung offers the Galaxy S26 FE in Pistachio, Blueberry and Graphite. The launch price is \u20b979,999 for 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. Samsung also lists exchange, EMI and bank offers, with the conditions and availability subject to change.<\/p>\n
